We all know that Alexa.com plays a big role in determinig a website's popularity on the internet. For instance, some affiliate networks will not approve your application until after they check how your website ranks with Alexa. Therefore, you should spend some time and effort to achieve a good ranking score. There is not really much you can do in terms of search engine optimization in order to improve your alexa ranking apart from link building. • Submit articles to article directories as this will eventually bring you some backlinks. This will both enhance your rankings with search engines and alexa.
• Put an alexa widget on your webpages. Some people argue that every time a user clicks on it, this counts as a visit regardless of whether the toolbar is installed or not.
